    Investment-linked assurance schemes are long-term investment-cum-life insurance products. They are only suitable for investors who:

    • understand that the principal will be at risk
    • are prepared to hold the investment for a long-term period
    • have both investment and estate planning objectives as they are packaged products that include both investment and insurance elements with death benefits payable to third party beneficiaries.
